I am a Geospatial Analyst and Coastal Modeler at Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies (HRI) at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi where I use GIS, remote sensing, coastal numerical modeling and spatial/non-spatial data analysis to model and understand geoenvironmental changes in coastal environment. I lead and manage GIS and modeling efforts for vulnerability analysis, resiliency planning, environmental impact assessment and feasibility analysis.
My recent work focuses on assessing environmental and socioeconomic impacts due to long-term sea level rise and associated enhanced storm surge flooding on the Texas coast. Another recent project that I managed and led is an environmental impact assessment in and around Corpus Christi Bay, Texas due to the proposed ship channel dredging projects.
Previously, I worked and consulted in GIS, remote sensing and web mapping projects for non-profit organizations, federal agencies, and other academic settings. I have applied my GIS and remote sensing skills to solve environmental problems in the U.S. as well as Asia and Africa.
